Rick is a genuine career Chicken Man. Straight out of West Georgia College, he dove into the poultry industry as Distribution Sales Representative for Gold Kist in Carrollton, Georgia.
“I just fell in. I needed a job and loved Carrollton. I didn’t even know there was a chicken plant over there…and BOOM."
Over the next 32 years, Rick built some of the most successful plant programs at the time, participating in all segments, Foodservice, National Accounts, Retail, Industrial and Export. Gold Kist (16 years) and Koch Foods (8 years) consume most of Rick’s tenure. The latest years were steps towards building the model that is now FoodPros.
